Country Club Kidz Preschool is located in Cupertino close to Homestead and Stelling Road near the Sunnyvale Border. Besides our stimulating preschool curriculum, our school is a bit unique due to the activities we offer and a focus on healthy food. Every week the children and families can choose to enroll in Swimming at DACA swim school in San Jose or traditional gymnastics put on by Twisters Sport Center in Cupertino, both are very exciting classes which promote motor skills and confidence in the children.
DACA has created a fun class for some of our children who are a little nervous of the water, which allows for a child to play safely and have fun with tubes, jumping in to be caught by the instructor and other fun activities, it is a great way for your child to get introduced to being in the water and trusting their instructor to move on to more lessons if they choose. Shelly the owner is very dedicated to a healthy environment for your
child offering organic meats, veggies, fruits and grains. We limit processed foods and do not provide children with artificial ingredients. We want your child to grow and learn in
a healthy and fun environment!
Our Philosophy
Here at Country Club Kidz our philosophy is simple! We want your child to have fun at school. Your child’s happiness is our first priority. We work hard to make sure that our school is a loving extension of your home. Children are magical, alive and interested in
the world around them. Our goal is to provide children with the tools necessary to
develop the skills they need for Kindergarten.
Country Club Kidz curriculum is based on a thematic approach. Many of these themes are created when we see their particular interests. Themes are a great way to introduce age appropriate activities while keeping the curriculum exciting. Through our themes, we target pre-reading and writing, gross and fine motor skills, science, cognition, art and math. A few examples of our themes are: Outer Space, Ocean Exploration, Rain Forest, May Garden and Spring flowers. Play is a very important part of a child’s day because it is primarily how children learn. We allow for free and directed play. We love to get messy. We encourage children to learn through discovery. We believe in the process, not the product, is the most important part of an activity. Remember, our goal is for children in our program to realize that they are successful, competent and that we believe in them.
Holiday celebrations are also a lot of fun here at CCK. We celebrate many different Holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah and many of the Jewish Holidays as well! One example of our Holidays is our current celebration or Rosh Hashanah. This week the children had fun with cooking honey cake, music and movement with Yifat (Our Jewish Holiday activity provider), a fun video with friends telling about the holiday, visiting a Rabbi, honey and apples, learning about bees which make the honey, stories at the library and at our school and making their own Shofar (Ram‘s Horn).
The Holidays are definitely a great time at CCK!
